I call this my Transvestite PC. A PC dressed up as a Mac.
I purchased the broken computer from a guy for a good deal. Only the CPU, Motherboard and PSU were broken.
So I started by taking the computer apart and scavenging parts from it. After a few weeks I got my aluminium and started to work. It was surprisingly hard to do a decent job on the interior (which is the only place I will be working BTW).
I made a PSU chamber, fan bracket, motherboard tray and cable management panel. The case is only temporary though because Proxima will start soon. I made it very non-user friendly as all the parts needs to be taken out in order to reach the PSU.
But this doesn't bother me.
I didn't make an effort to install a decent power switch and USB ports, because, again, the case is only temporary. Once it is out of use I will do this.
Here is some quick pictures I took of the final product:

Introduction to Project: CAGE
My journey with case modding started when I modified an old server case that I got for free. After a while I wasn't happy with it, so I decided to redo all of it. This time I'll do it good. A lot of planning went into this mod, and it is also where I learned to render 3D models.
I have started the mod a while ago, and have made a lot of progress. I have purchased all my aluminium and and other needed, like perspex (acrylic or plexiglass).
More updates COMING SOON!!!
